Hertfordshire County Council are keen to find the culprit of a fly-tip in Watford and "bring them to court" after rubbish was left piled in a field.
Furniture, toys, bags, debris, pots, and more were discovered dumped on the patch of land, set back from Oxhey Lane, near Carpenders Park, last Friday, with more wasted added earlier this week.
A padlock was initially put on the gate to prevent it happening again by a member of the public, but this was removed to allow access for clean-up, which has now taken place.
HCC are keen to find those responsible for the fly-tipping, with a spokesperson telling the Watford Observer: "As the landowner, we have been working with the tenants on this land and the fly-tipped waste has now been removed.

"We work closely with district councils to prevent fly-tipping, and we hope that it will be possible to identify the people responsible for this fly-tipping incident so they can be brought to court."
Speaking following the incident, Carpenders Park councillor Rue Grewal said: "It is clear that this is a deliberate act of dumping that could have easily been taken to the tip.
"I am increasingly alarmed by the rise in fly-tipping in and around Carpenders Park.
"On my daily walks, I constantly come across these situations, and I report them every time."
