Watford motorists have had to cough up hundreds of pounds in fines after being found guilty of driving related offences this month.
These seven people were all ordered to pay fines at magistrates’ courts so far in October.
They also face penalty points and, in one case, a driving ban for crimes including speeding, using a phone behind the wheel and accepting private hire bookings without a licence.

Marius Ardei
Marius Ardei, of Leaford Crescent, admitted to speeding at more than 70 miles per hour on the M1 in London on February 2 this year.
Appearing in Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court yesterday (October 16), the 34-year-old was disqualified from driving for six months, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay a total of £278.
Daniel Harsant
Daniel Harsant, 35, appeared in Willesden Magistrates’ Court on October 15 and pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone in London on March 13.
Harsant, of Leavesden Road, was ordered to pay a total of £324 and his driving record was endorsed with six points.
Craig Rhodes
Craig Rhodes, 53, of Cross Road, Watford, admitted to speeding at more than 30 miles per hour in London on July 6.
He was ordered to pay £1,042 and given four points on his licence.
Davneet Singh Wadwa
St Anselms Road resident Davneet Singh Wadwa admitted to speeding at more than 70 miles per hour on the M4 in Wales on April 17 during an appearance in Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on October 14.
The 27-year-old was ordered to pay a total of £260 and his driving record was endorsed with five points.
Nadeem Sarwar
Nadeem Sarwar, 41, appeared in Willesden Magistrates’ Court on October 11 and admitted to driving without insurance, accepting a private hire booking without a private hire vehicle operator’s licence, and touting for hire by a private hire vehicle in London.
Sarwar, of Fuller Road, was ordered to pay a £281 total and given six points on his licence following the offences on July 28.
Henry Mason-Birch
Henry Mason-Birch, 30, appeared in Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on October 8 and was ordered to pay a £530 total after speeding at more than 70 miles per hour on the M1 in London on February 16.
Mason-Birch, of Haines Way, had his driving record endorsed with six penalty points after he pleaded guilty.
Sai Chetan Pampara
Sai Chetan Pampara, of Middle Way, appeared in Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on October 2 and was found guilty of speeding at 60mph in a 50mph road in Port Talbot on March 12.
He was ordered to pay a total of £398 and his driving record was endorsed with three points.
Pampara, 26, was also found guilty of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence but was not given a separate penalty for the offence.
