Hi, I’m Bailey, a three-year-old German Shepherd looking for a new home. You may recognise me as I became a bit of a poster boy for the National Animal Welfare Trust when I was here last year. I thought I’d found my forever home but found myself back at NAWT as my owner sadly passed away.
I’m a big soppy boy with a heart full of love to give to my next family. I’m a very happy dog who absolutely loves people, so don’t be surprised if I bring one of my favourite toys to show you when you’re outside my kennel or if I lie down to get a good shoulder rub from you. I love my toys so hope my future family will spend a lot of time playing with me.
I’ve been doing really well with my training since I first came into rescue but this needs to continue in my new home. I’m a very clever boy and pick things up quickly so we’re sure to have fun.
I hope to have access to a large garden as I love being able to run around, play outdoors and even ‘help’ you with the gardening!
As I’m big and jumpy, I need to live with teenage children and adults only and it’s important every family member supports my training.
I hate being left alone, so need someone home with me most the day so I don’t get lonely.
I can’t live with cats as I’d want to chase them and although I like to make doggy friends when I’m out on walks, I’d prefer not to live with one.
If you have room in your family for a big lovebug like me, apply today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
