A fundraising walk, which took place in Cassiobury Park, has raised more than £6,000 for Watford charities.
The community event, hosted by Watford Borough Council's chairwoman Dawn Allen-Williamson on September 14, brought together residents from across the borough.
The money raised will be donated to Manna Foodbank and Ngorli CIC, two charities which provide support to the community.
Chairwoman Allen-Williamson said: "I am overwhelmed by the community's generosity and support.
"Seeing so many people come together for such an important cause has been truly inspiring.
"Both Manna Foodbank and Ngorli CIC do incredible work in our community, and the funds raised will go a long way in helping them continue their vital services.
"Whether you joined us for the walk or contributed in other ways, thank you for making a difference."
Eleven people took part in the 12-mile walk, which covered Cassiobury Park, The Grove, and Whippendell Wood.
The Chairwoman treated eight of the participants to lunch at The Harvester as a thank you.
She also extended her gratitude to the key sponsors of the event.
These included 1Life Events, Berkley Designed for Life, A1 Taxis, and Hilton London Watford, as well as Lazar Print, who donated the T-shirts for the sponsored walk.
