A parcel delivery firm has created 165 new jobs as it gears up for the busy festive period.
Yodel is taking on new staff in Borehamwood, with 107 couriers and 58 warehouse workers being employed ahead of the busiest time of the year.
It is estimated the company will need to handle around 53 per cent more parcels during the peak times created by the Black Friday and Christmas shopping rush.

The new roles are ideal for anyone looking to make some extra money this Christmas, with the company promising a flexible schedule.
There is also the possibility for some roles to become permanent in the New Year.
Yodel CEO Mike Hancox said: “As we head into the busiest time of year for retailers, we’re expanding our workforce to meet the boom in demand for parcel deliveries as the ecommerce market continues to go from strength to strength.
"Borehamwood is an incredibly important site within Yodel’s national operation, and we look forward to welcoming more colleagues on-board to strengthen our peak period.”
The recruitment drive comes as part of Yodel's new partnership with Onsi Pay, a company which allows workers to access a portion of their pay the next day, rather than waiting until the end of the month.
