Autumn is not only a time of year for capturing some glorious scenic snaps, but it can also result in some stunning wildlife shots as three of the pictures you can enjoy by scrolling down this page.

‘The beauty of autumn’ is the current theme for members of the Watford Observer Camera Club and among this week's selection are fantastic photos of a stag running and two ponies grazing.

The Watford Observer Camera Club is a Facebook-based group.

It is open to all photographers, from those who snap pictures on their phones to professionals who capture perfect shots with specialist equipment.

Every four weeks usually, members of the camera club are set a new challenge, a theme is selected and then the work starts for our talented photographers.
