A Bushey teenager is set to fulfil a lifelong dream next month when he performs at the Royal Albert Hall next month.
Oscar Brown,17, will perform at the iconic London venue on November 6, in the final of Future Makers, a competition for budding singer-songwriters.
Oscar said: “It means so much to have the opportunity to play at the Royal Albert Hall – one of the bucket list venues for any performer anywhere in the world. To be picked out of so many applicants was just a dream come true.
"The Albert Hall feels like such a landmark for me. We were taken into the auditorium recently – and just to know that I will be playing there in a month was incredible.”

Originally from Cornwall, Oscar studies at music college in Bushey and has been writing music since the age of 11, releasing his first EP, Far from Home, this year.
The winner of the contest will be crowned the ‘Royal Albert Hall Future Makers Artist, 2024’ and receive a year of support as they look to forge a career in the industry.
Oscar dreams of becoming a professional musician and is aiming to produce an album in the near future.
