A blaze which damaged two cars is being treated as a suspected arson.
The incident took place in Canterbury Road, Watford, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police and a fire crew were called at 1.11am to reports of an explosion and two cars on fire.
A Watford Fire Station engine was sent to the road, where the crew found two cars well alight, with the fire affecting other nearby cars.
Firefighters extinguished the fire before handing over the scene to police.
It has been confirmed that nobody was hurt.
An investigation is under way, with authorities believing the fire to have been started deliberately.

Mark Barber, assistant chief fire officer for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “Deliberate fires can cause a significant amount of damage, as well as being distressing for the people affected.
"On top of that our crews may not be able to attend other incidents where people urgently need our help. Please report any activity that may help the police with their investigations, and help us to protect our communities and keep people safe.”
Hertfordshire Constabulary has been approached for further details.
