Rickmansworth drivers face A404 delays due to roadworks

Planned roadworks are causing the delays between Rickmansworth and Northwood, with the works taking place on London Road.

There are delays for motorists this morning. (Image: AA Traffic Maps) Temporary traffic lights are also in place as Cadent carry out gas repair works in the area.

The description of the works on the one network website reads: "Cadent are carrying out emergency gas repair works.

"These repairs can take time to resolve, but this is to ensure that we continue to provide the safest and most reliable service to our customers."

HCC Highways has urged drivers to avoid the area this morning to beat delays.

The works are set to continue until October 11, having begun yesterday.
