The latest set of Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) priorities have been set for Three Rivers.

Crackdowns on anti-social behaviour, speeding and shoplifting form part of the police's priorities for the next four months.

By analysing crime data and using information provided by the public via the force’s community feedback forum ‘echo’ the police have set out its new list.

Officers will work alongside partners to address the agreed priorities below, through an increased police presence, engagement events and targeted enforcement.

The priorities are:

Abbots Langley

  • Continuing to tackle anti-social behaviour through youth engagement.
  • Tackling speeding in the area.
  • Address anti-social vehicle use with parking concerns at school drop-off and pick-up times.

Rickmansworth

  • Theft/shoplifting
  • Continue work to prevent any violence against women and girls
  • Tackle speeding, anti-social driving and parking concerns.

South Oxhey

  • Theft/shoplifting.
  • Tackle theft from motor vehicles.

NPT officers will continue to respond to daily business as usual, as well as force-wide priorities and any emerging issues which require more immediate action.

Three Rivers Inspector Amy Tarver, said: “Thanks to all of those members of the public who submitted their views in regards to issues which concern them in their local communities as we have set the priorities.

“Some of the items are long-standing issues with ongoing work surrounding them and so remain from the previous priorities.

“You can keep up with what the teams are doing via our social media channels and our community messaging system Herts Connected.”

You can also use our community voice platform ‘echo’ to provide feedback which will help towards shaping local policing priorities, initiatives and campaigns in the future.
