Hertfordshire Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to over reports of schoolgirls being followed in Bushey.

The force confirmed a "suspicious" incident in the Aldenham Road area between 3pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday, September 24, is one of several they are investigating of a man following schoolgirls in the area.

On four different occasions between September 23 and 25, it was reported a white man had approached teenage girls in school uniform.

It comes after a message circulated on Facebook claiming to be from a Watford secondary school, which warns parents against an “adult male targeting school age, lone females in the Bushey area by following them and trying to persuade them to come with him”.

It advised students to be vigilant, walk in groups or call 999 if they feel unsafe.

Any information on the "suspicious" incident appeal can be reported online at https://orlo.uk/eDb0D or on 101 , quoting ISR 504 of September 24.
