A church in Watford is calling on the town to take climate action.
St Mary’s Church, in High Street, is holding a free conference on Saturday to encourage people to make a "real impact on the planet".
The event, Think Global: Act Local – Practical Action to Fix our Planet, will take place at the church from 10am.
It is designed to provide attendees with both theoretical knowledge and practical tips from "experts and practitioners" to help reduce their carbon footprints.
The event will be opened by Matt Turmaine MP and will feature talks on Science and the Planet and Ethics and the Planet, led by scientist, Dr Martin Hodson, and his wife, Margot.
Councillor Ian Stotesbury will also speak about how to get involved in local action.
There will be workshops led by partners and an opportunity to network.
Churchwarden at St Mary’s, Marcus Jones, said: "Working with our partners, our aim is to encourage and empower the people of Watford to do our bit for the planet while making Watford a greener, cleaner, safer space to live and work."
