A 23-year-old man is set to appear in crown court later this month after being arrested on suspicion of rape.
Emmanuel Ofulue, of Home Park Mill Link Road, Kings Langley, has been charged with the rape of a woman in Guildford, Surrey, on Thursday, September 26.
Yesterday (September 30), he appeared in Staines Magistrates’ Court facing one count of rape of a woman 16 years of age or over and one count of assault of a female aged 13 or over by penetration with a part of his body.

Court documents specified that, for the assault charge, the woman was also aged 16 or over and that for both charges the alleged victim "did not consent and Ofulue did not reasonably believe that she was consenting”.
The defendant is listed as having either pleaded not guilty or not entered a plea.
Ofulue is next set to appear at Guildford Crown Court on October 28 for a plea and trial preparation hearing. He was granted bail, with conditions.
