Residents have warned drivers to avoid “gridlocked” village lanes after a van crashed onto its side.
Drivers face delays between Croxley Green and Chandler’s Cross this morning (October 1) after the crash in Sarratt Road, near York House School, at around 7am.
It is not known how the vehicle came to be on its side, although the driver does not appear to be hurt as he was pictured standing next to the van.
In the photo taken at 7.35am, the front windscreen is smashed while broken glass can be seen across the road.

Cars can also be seen queuing in both directions to get around the vehicle.
The incident is causing congestion in Sarratt Road and traffic is backed up for hundreds of metres up Redhall Lane and through Chandler’s Cross, according to Google Maps.
One resident warned online: “Avoid the lanes, Sarratt Road just past York House School, grid locked both ways.”
