Police have charged a 23-year-old man after a gun was pulled on another man during a row in atria Watford.
Officers were contacted on Tuesday (September 24) by CCTV staff at the shopping centre over the incident between three men, which saw the weapon pointed at a man in his 20s who then fled.
Hertfordshire Police rushed to the scene where they were flagged down by the victim, who was taken to safety.
After checking CCTV, the force searched the Sainsbury’s car park in Albert Road South where they located and arrested a suspect, before finding a gun which had been discarded under a car.
A second suspect is still at large, the force said.
Mohammed Al-Saadi, 23, of Eltham Avenue in Slough, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence and possession of a knife/bladed article.
He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (September 26) where he was remanded into custody before his hearing at St Albans Crown Court on October 24.
