Motorists have been warned of long delays on the A41 near Watford today due to a planned closure.
The westbound slip road onto the major road from the A405 is shut today to allow Highways workers to trim "overgrowing vegetation".

The closure, which will be lifted tomorrow, is forcing southbound drivers to join the A41 in the opposite direction and loop back around the Hunton Bridge Interchange in order to reach The Dome roundabout.Traffic is moving slowly up to 900m back from the roadworks, according to AA. (Image: AA)
Traffic maps also show some drivers are using Leggatts Rise as a cut-through in order to reach the major road.
Drivers have been warned to avoid the area as the closure is causing heavy congestion for up to 900 metres back from The Dome.
