Garages earmarked for housebuilding are set to go under the hammer next month.
The 175-square-metre land between 19 and 23 Breakspeare Road, Abbots Langley, will be sold via public auction from 9.30am October 15.
It currently contains two vacant single storey lock-up garages but the listing highlights that a planning application has been submitted for a three-bedroom detached house to be built there.

- The changing face of Watford at the end of the eighties
A guide price of £50,000 has been given. Auction House London says that a decision on the planning application is pending but adds that it makes “no representations or warranties with regard to this scheme and/or the validity of the aforementioned application”.
It added: “Buyers must rely on their own enquiries with regard to any development potential, permissions required and previous planning history in respect of this site.”
The application does not appear to be available to view on the Three Rivers District Council planning portal as of September 28, but an image attached to the listing includes an artist’s impression.
A previous proposal with a different design was submitted in May, this year, before being withdrawn at the end of July after 22 objections.
