Masked people on e-bikes who were riding dangerously on the evening of a popular community festival have triggered a police appeal.

Yesterday (September 24) the force shared two photos of people doing wheelies on the grass in The Green, Croxley Green, on Saturday, September 7.

“Several” reports of antisocial riding were apparently made during the early evening.

Sergeant Anna Cornish said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who has information about who these riders are so that we can progress our investigation.

“The riders have their faces covered, but people may know who they are or recognise them from their build, clothing, and the vehicles themselves.

“The action of these riders was careless, with little regard to the community and the impact that these types of incidents can have.”
