Police arrested two men over a moped theft and riding electric bikes “dangerously” around North Watford in the middle of the night.
Yesterday (September 23), the force confirmed on social media that on-patrol officers received reports of “Sur-Ron” bikes being ridden dangerously in the area at around 1.50am on September 9.
They searched Bushey Mill Lane following sightings of the bikes, where they found two of them as well as a moped.
Officers detained two men there whilst two further suspects fled the scene on Sur-Ron bikes.
After visiting the moped's owner, police established it had been taken from their driveway and it was returned to them, while the two Sur-Ron bikes were also later recovered.
