Today, a spokesperson confirmed that officers had been called to the road after a blue Ford KA left the road “for reasons unknown” at around 7.40pm.
“The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, and it was reopened at 9.22pm,” they added.
The East of England Ambulance service was called and has been contacted for information on any injuries.
A yellow warning for rain was in place for the area during all of Sunday. The Met Office warned of potential “difficult driving conditions” during the time the warning was in place.
