Magistrates have banned a Watford man from driving after he admitted being twice over the alcohol limit behind the wheel.
Jake Scott, of Penrose Avenue, appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on September 10 charged with driving a motor vehicle while above the alcohol level.
The 26-year-old was accused of being behind the wheel of an Infiniti Q50 in Oxford Road, Aylesbury, on August 24 while he had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

This was more than double the legal limit to drive of 35mg per 100ml of breath.
In court, Scott pleaded guilty and disqualified from driving for 20 months, although he can apply to have the sentence reduced after 20 weeks have passed.
He was also ordered to pay a total of £253, of which there was a £120 fine.
