Four people have been arrested over a shooting on the A41 after armed police raided a home today.
Herts Police have confirmed they made enquiries in Yarmouth Road this afternoon (September 18) after armed police were seen raiding a house there between 1.10pm and 3.30pm.
According to a witness, two police cars blocked either end of the road while three other vehicles, including a custody van, parked close to the house.

The witness added that armed police then took cover behind parked vehicles and shouted for anyone inside to come out with nothing in their hands, which four males did, before entering the property.
The force has now confirmed that this led to officers arresting two people in Toms Lane, Kings Langley, and that one of those arrests was in connection with a shooting in Watford.

Today, a 20-year-old man was arrested in Toms Lane, on suspicion of attempted murder, and Herts Police have said this was in connection with the A41 shooting. A 38-year-old woman was also arrested, on suspicion of assisting an offender
Two more women, aged 23 and 24, were also arrested today in connection with the shooting, on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
All four are in police custody at this time.
The arrests come one day after a man was shot dead during the early hours of Tuesday morning, in Railway Terrace, Kings Langley. However, police are not relating that shooting to today's events.
