Police were seen bursting into a Watford address during an armed raid this afternoon.
According to residents, Yarmouth Road, between St Albans Road and Bradshaw Road in North Watford, was blocked by police vehicles at both ends from around 1.10pm (September 18) to shortly after 3.30pm.
Footage from the scene shows a group of armed officers stood outside a home while a nearby police car was parked in the middle of the road.

A man in a T-shirt and shorts can then been seen being escorted out of the property via the front door and led away.
According to a witness, two police vehicles blocked either end of the road while three other vehicles, including a custody van, parked close to the house.
The witness added that armed police then took cover behind parked vehicles and shouted for anyone inside to come out with nothing in their hands. “Over a short period of time”, four males came out but were seemingly not detained, they added.
The officers were then seen entering the house and shouting “armed police”.
Herts Police have been contacted for more information. Updates to follow.
