M25 resurfacing between two junctions each night this week is among eight motorway closures scheduled near Watford for the next fortnight.

Motorists could face delays of up to 30 minutes on a diversion route as the clockwise M25 is being shut, between junction 23 and junction 24, from 10pm until 6am each night until September 21.

The carriageway and slip road are being closed for surfacing works and the diversion will include both local authority and National Highways roads.

From 10pm September 23 to 5am September 26: Slight delays (under 10 minutes). Southbound, junction 5 to junction 4. Lane closure for Parapet replacement works.

From 10pm September 26 to 6am September 28: Slight delays (under 10 minutes). Southbound, junction 5 to junction 4. Lane closure for parapet replacement works.

From 10pm September 30 to 5am October 1: Slight delays (under 10 minutes). Southbound, junction 5 to junction 4. Lane closure for parapet replacements.

M25:
