- Kyle Clifford has been remanded in custody after he appeared in court twice today over the killing of Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt in Bushey on July 9
- The 26-year-old barely spoke during the proceedings at the Royal Courts of Justice due to a "voice injury" but nodded to confirm his name age and address
- He has been charged with three counts of murder, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, a 10-in butcher's knife and a compound crossbow
- He was also accused of unlawfully imprisoning Louise Hunt who police found "tied to a chair"
- Clifford is set to enter a plea at Cambridge Crown Court in late November, with a possible trial set for spring next year
- The court heard he now uses a wheelchair after he shot himself with his own crossbow
- His defence team also said they want to review his military records before his next appearance
