- Herts Police appealed for anyone with information to get in touch online or by calling 101.
- A man has been confirmed dead and a murder investigation has been launched.
- At just after 12.45am, a white Volkswagen Golf on fire was reported in Furtherfield, Abbots Langley.
- Herts Police believe the incidents are linked and have searched both areas. Officers remain at the scenes but currently no arrests have been made.
