A gunman who fired shots at a home in Bushey is still at large after armed police and a helicopter were called to catch him.
Hertfordshire Police officers descended on Woolmerdine Court after "shots were fired" at a property at around 4.25pm yesterday (September 15), although no injuries were reported.
A police helicopter was also called out in the hunt for the suspect, although officers did not locate him and no arrests have been made.
The force said they believe it was a targeted incident as part of an ongoing dispute.
It is not clear if it is connected to the series of linked attacks around Watford including the A41 shooting. Police have been contacted for more details.
The force said the gunman, who is believed to have been on his own, is described as wearing a face covering, black joggers, a black hoodie, black gloves and white socks.

He was seen riding a Sur-Ron-style electric bike at the time.
Residents reported online seeing "so many police" in the road as one claimed they heard "gunshots" from their garden in nearby Park Avenue.
Police enquiries are ongoing and any information can be reported via 101 or online at www.herts.police.uk/report, quoting ISR 477 of September 15.
