Residents questioned why pavement in Bushey needed to be dug up again just weeks after it was newly resurfaced.

Photos shared online show mounds of rumble removed from a large hole in Great Grove, off Bournehall Avenue, while UK Powers carries emergency repairs to a high-voltage cable from August 29 until tomorrow (September 5).

(Image: Supplied) A spokesperson for Hertfordshire County Council confirmed that the works came just weeks after the highways team completely resurfaced the pavements between July 18 and August.
