Hello, I’m Patches and this is Pebbles. We came to the National Animal Welfare Trust as strays and are looking for a loving new home together. We're currently living with a foster carer to help us relax and build our confidence.
You can usually find us cuddled up together in our bed as we love to have a good snuggle. We’re both very scared, although I’m a little bit braver than Pebbles. We found it quite stressful moving into the cattery and are desperate to find a home as soon as possible so we can get settled.
Our new owner will need to be understanding of our nerves and be willing to give us time to build up a bond with them slowly. The secret to making friends with us is freshly cooked chicken - we love it! It’s so good even Pebbles will pop his head out of bed to investigate the delicious treat.
We’re looking for a quiet home with no other pets. It’s really important that our owners are patient and understanding and don’t expect too much of us too soon. We’d be best suited to an adult-only home with someone who’s able to be home a lot of the time. We’d also like access to a garden to explore.
If you’re able to show two worried cats like us that the world isn’t such a scary place, apply today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
