There is currently heavy congestion on the motorway anticlockwise between junctions 17 for Rickmansworth and 15 for the M4 due matrix signs displaying incorrect information, according to the AA.
Road signs on the stretch are reportedly showing that the M25 is closed between junctions 15 to 13, although there are no closures in place.
