A plane-mad Watford schoolboy was given a special tour behind the scenes of one of the UK’s largest airports, and even had the chance to get stuck in himself.
Seth Drinkell, 11, was invited to experience different jobs at London Luton Airport, which saw over 16.2 million passengers last year, as part of a scheme to inspire the next generation of airport staff.
A series of TikTok videos show him helping to check-in passengers, learning how to marshal an aircraft and taking a ride on the airport's fire engine.
Seth said he had a “great time” learning the ropes, adding: “There are so many people that work here with very important jobs to do.
“The best bits were plane spotting in the Air Traffic Control tower and getting dressed like a firefighter. I can’t wait to work at LLA when I’m older!”
London Luton Airport HR director Nik Jones said: “It’s great to see that Seth enjoyed his time at London Luton Airport and we can’t wait to welcome him back when he’s finished his studies!"
