The reigning Miss Hertfordshire showed her support for a mental health charity at a recent event.
Marcie Reid from Rickmansworth visited Guideposts Trust's art and craft fair, which showcased the creativity of those supported by the charity and aimed to raise awareness of mental health issues.
It displayed creative projects made by those participating in Guideposts’ services, offering attendees the opportunity to purchase handmade items while supporting the charity.
Ms Reid, who has faced her own mental health challenges, shared her personal journey with attendees to connect with them.
She said: "I know first-hand the importance of supporting mental health initiatives.
"It’s been a journey for me, and I wholeheartedly believe in the healing power of art and community.
"Today has shown me the incredible strength of those involved with Guideposts, and I’m honoured to be here to help shine a light on their work."
Guideposts Trust's Watford hub provides a range of support services for individuals facing mental health challenges.
They aim to create a safe and supportive environment for self-expression and connection, fostering resilience and wellbeing.
Their mission is to ensure no one is left behind and to help people lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
