Commuters face train cancellations and disruption on the Abbey Line due to a fault earlier this morning.
Services between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey have been cancelled or delayed due to a fault on an earlier train, which meant the lines were blocked(August 23).
It was first reported at 5.58am and London Northwestern Railway warned it will continue until at least 8am.
Update: trains are now running as normal.

⚠️ Due to a fault with the train, services between Watford Jct and St Albans are cancelled.
⏰ At present, we anticipate this will be until approx 8am.
🚌 Road transport is in operation.
🎫 Ticket acceptance on 321 bus.
National Rail's live departures board shows that the 7.15am service to St Albans has been delayed by around 10 minutes, while the 8.01am train is currently unaffected by the disruption.
Tickets are being accepted at no extra cost on the 321 Arriva bus between Watford Junction and St Albans.
