One man has been charged with dangerous driving and another arrested over vehicle theft after a police helicopter search.
Kawish Bhatti, 19, was arrested after a crash in St Albans Road saw the occupants of one of the two vehicles involved - a Land Rover - reportedly get out and flee the scene, at around 2.45pm yesterday (August 21).
The Watford resident has since been charged with failing to stop for police and dangerous driving.

A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle and has been released on police bail while investigations continue, the force confirmed this afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
Numerous police cars and a helicopter were spotted in North Watford as part of a subsequent search.
Updated: Kawish Bhatti was released on bail, with his next appearance scheduled for St Albans Magistrates’ Court on September 19.
