The wall of a Watford home was destroyed when a Royal Mail smashed into it this afternoon.
Herts Police were called to Rickmansworth Road at around 3.38pm (August 19), having receiving reports of the crash.
When officers arrived, it was logged as a "damage only road traffic collision" which they confirmed involved a red delivery van hitting a building.

A spokesperson added: "Officers attended the scene and then left the scene after ensuring everything was all in order."
Having travelled onto the home's drive and into the wall, near the junction with Hagden Lane, the vehicle was not left blocking the road and so traffic was able to flow freely.
Pictures show the damage, which includes a large chunk of the wall having been knocked down and part of the front of the van badly damaged.
A metal pole on the nearby traffic island was also knocked down, suggesting the vehicle had hit that first before travelling across the opposite side of the road.
