There were long delays in Watford as a person was taken to hospital after a car and bus crashed.
Herts Police were called to reports of a crash Rickmansworth Road, opposite the Ford garage, at around 5.50pm yesterday (August 15).
There was heavy congestion westbound out of Watford, as emergency services worked at the scene, with Hertfordshire Highways advising motorists to avoid the area.

Today, Herts Police have confirmed that a bus and a black Vauxhall Astra were involved and one person was taken to hospital to be checked as a precaution.
No arrests were made.
Recovery was arranged for both vehicles and the road was cleared by 7.30pm.
