A headteacher has said he is “so proud” after all students who applied to Oxbridge got in on results day.
As year 13s across the country received their results this morning (August 15), Rickmansworth School, in Scots Hill, celebrated results “significantly higher than the national average across every attainment measure".
The school congratulated its students, who it said performed “extremely well” this year.

Headteacher Matt Fletcher said: “I’m so proud of all the students who worked extremely hard to achieve these results and wish them the very best of luck as they move on to universities, apprenticeships and employment.
“We’re also really pleased that all the students that applied for Oxbridge places this year were successful.”
After receiving great results Daisy Shaw, who will be reading engineering at Cambridge next year, said “believe and you will achieve”.
Thomas Knight is set to join her at Cambridge and will be studying geography. He said he is “really happy” and “can’t wait to go to university”.
