Hertfordshire County Council is set to repair a roundabout after it was wrecked in a chaotic two-car crash.
Herts Police were called to reports of a crash where Leggatts Way meets The Harebreaks in North Watford at around 10.33pm on Sunday, August 11.
Lights and signs were wrecked, and car parts still littered the centre of the middle of the roundabout on Tuesday morning.

Hertfordshire County Council Highways has confirmed that it visited the site later on Tuesday, “to clear up and make everything safe”.
A council spokesperson added: “Our streetlighting team will be carrying out a further visit to establish what work will be needed to repair the lights on the roundabout.”
No road closures are currently scheduled as part of this.
Leggatts Ward councillor Asif Khan, who reported the area for clearance and repair, said: “It’s important that the roundabout is repaired, and the lights are working. It’s a crucial junction.
“I saw it as I was walking past, and I was a bit concerned by the state of it and residents raised their concerns as well.
“Its important that roundabout is repaired as soon as possible for safety reasons, the quicker it is done – the better.”
A witness who was nearby before the emergency services arrived described hearing “loud bangs”, screams from others who saw what happened, and car horns going off when the crash occurred.
They added that the "prompt" Herts Police officers arrived within a few minutes.
The force later confirmed that a silver Toyota Yaris and a grey Vauxhall Corsa were involved.
The Corsa driver was treated by the ambulance service and then taken to Watford General Hospital for further assessment and care, after he suffered minor injuries.
One person reportedly fled the scene on foot, heading towards nearby woodland according to Herts Police.
“Enquiries are ongoing to find their whereabouts,” a spokesperson added.
