Thieves have stolen £250 worth of groceries from a service station plagued by thefts, as police released images of two men they want to speak to.

The BP Service Station in Uxbridge Road, Mill End, has been repeatedly targeted by criminals in recent months as Hertfordshire Police continue to investigate.

Most recently, suspects took £250 worth of food and alcohol items from the garage’s M&S Simply Food branch and “quickly” left the shop without attempting to pay at around 7.40pm on Friday, August 2.

Staff previously told the Watford Observer that the location has long had an issue with thefts but that incidents had increased in the early months of 2024 and had become a “bad problem”.
