Watford Junction users have been warned of disruption to trains that is expected to last for much of the afternoon.
Services between the town and London Euston have been forced to run at reduced speeds on some lines, meaning they may be cancelled or delayed up to 15 minutes.
National Rail warned the disruption is expected to last until at least 4pm.

Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston and Birmingham New Street, Milton Keynes and Tring are all affected.
- Rush hour chaos as trains cancelled for hours
- Watford to London lines to close for six days from this weekend
London Northwestern Railway has advised that some trains will run non-stop between London Euston and Watford Junction, missing Bushey, and Harrow and Wealdstone as a result.
It is the second set of disruption Watford rail users have faced today after Abbey Line services were blocked from rush hour this morning.
Rail replacement buses were brought in while there was no service between Watford and St Albans from 7.10am until 12.30pm due to a "fault on a train".
