Thieves stole two Lexus cars in Watford at the same time just a street apart, sparking separate police appeals for information.
The force have asked for the public’s help after a black Lexus RX was stolen in Waterfields Way, near the town centre, between 12.30pm and 1.50pm on Saturday, August 3.
Offenders also made off with white Lexus estate between 1pm and 1.52pm on the same day, which was parked at the neighbouring Tesco superstore in Lower High Street.
The Tesco Extra is separated from Waterfields Way by a hedge and there are slipways leading from the car park onto the road.

When asked if the same suspects were behind both incidents, a police spokesperson said: "At this time it is too early to say as the investigation is in its early stages."
Anyone with information has been urged to submit it via non-emergency number 101 or the Herts Police website.
