Works are set to close a bridge along a popular walking route, as well as a play area, with diversions to be put in place.
Three Rivers District Council has asked anyone thinking about visiting Rickmansworth Aquadrome to plan ahead, as the Ebury play area and the pedestrian bridge will be closed for five days from Monday, September 23.
Trees and shrubs are set to be cleared to make way for the bridge to be replaced later in the year.

Walkers will still be able to access the aquadrome and town centre during the works and a diversion route will be in place with on-site signage.
Council associate director of environment Emma Sheridan said: “Work on the new pedestrian bridge is due to get underway soon.
“It will be wider, which will improve access to the much-loved Rickmansworth Aquadrome for the years to come.
“The current bridge is not sustainable and by investing in a new bridge, we can ensure it is fit for purpose and avoid further disruptive works.”
She added that the plants set for removal are “of poor quality” and promised that replacement trees will be planted nearby.
Both the bridge and the play area will be closing again for the new bridge to be installed. More information on this work will be shared closer to the time.
