A charity fundraising walk will be held in Cassiobury Park next month to raise money for the chairwoman of Watford Borough Council's nominated good causes.

Cllr Dawn Allen-Williamson is staging the event on Saturday, September 14 in aid of Manna Foodbank and Ngorli CIC.

Manna Foodbank provides emergency food supplies to people in need of them, and Ngorli CIC focuses on the empowerment of young people through educational and developmental programmes.

Cllr Allen-Williamson said: "I am thrilled to invite everyone to join us for this charity fundraising walk in Cassiobury Park.

"By participating, you'll be supporting Ngorli CIC and Manna Food Bank, two incredible charities that make a profound difference in our community.

"Whether you're an avid walker or just looking for a pleasant day out, your involvement will help provide educational opportunities for children and essential food support for those in need.

"Let's come together, step by step, and make a positive impact.

"Sign up today and be a part of this wonderful cause."

Participants are invited to register in advance and to gather sponsorships from their own networks to boost the money raised.

The aim of hosting the walk is to raise at least £300 for the two charities.
