Delays are "likely" as UK Power Networks has multi-way signals in a major Watford road this afternoon for emergency repair works.
The electricity distribution network operator has contractors carrying out “utility repair and maintenance works” on short notice in Bushey Mill Lane after an issue was reported.
It is unclear when the works, put in place where the road meets Greycaine Road at around 2.15pm (July 18), will be lifted due to being unplanned.

The permit is for 24/7 traffic restrictions until next Wednesday (July 24) but they may be removed significantly earlier or later depending on when repairs are completed.
Temporary lights are operating in the road which have been judged to be “likely” to cause delays for motorists, according to traffic website One Network.
The pavement has been blocked but an alternative pedestrian walkway has been provided.
