A friend of one of the Bushey crossbow attack victims has paid tribute to the “very kind soul”.
Rohit Mitra, 25, met Louise Hunt through a mutual friend while he attended Watford Boys’ Grammar School and she went to Loreto College in St Albans.
They kept in contact after finishing school seven years ago and saw each other at the gym they shared in Bushey.
The data analyst said: “In the morning, I had heard there had been a murder in Bushey, but I got on with my day until I saw the news in a coffee shop later and immediately, I put it together."
“I was in shock”, Rohit added. “I was absolutely devastated. I kept trying to make sense of it. I often heard about things like this on the news but when it’s right near your home and someone you know it’s a different experience.
“It’s something I’m having to accept.”
Rohit described Louise, 25, as “sweet, positive and cheerful”, adding: “She was a very kind soul and I never saw her get angry or annoyed.
“She was a really positive person, approachable and easy to talk to. She would always ask how you were feeling.
“If I could see her again, I would say keep your head up and don’t let others bring you down. I would let her know that she is a sweet person and deserves the best in life.”

- Bushey triple murder suspect Kyle Clifford arrested
Louise and her sister Hannah, 28, and mum Carol, 61, were found with serious injuries at home in Ashlyn Close on Tuesday evening and died at the scene.
The attack sparked a manhunt across Hertfordshire and north London for the main suspect, 26-year-old Kyle Clifford, who was apprehended by police in a cemetery in Enfield, near his home, on Wednesday afternoon.
It is thought that Louise had broken up with Kyle in the weeks prior to the attack and a photo shared online shows the pair together.
Clifford, who is believed to have had a short stint in the British Army, remains in hospital in a serious condition, although Hertfordshire Police have today confirmed they officially arrested him yesterday evening.
