A public vigil is being held this evening (July 12) in Bushey to mourn Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt.

There has been an outpouring of tributes from the local community and further afield after the mother and two daughters were murdered in Ashlyn Close on Tuesday.

More than a hundred well-wishers paid tribute at St James's Church yesterday, and the Sacred Heart church in London Road, Bushey, has confirmed it is holding a Vigil Mass at 7.30pm this evening.

A message on its website reads: "Our community is offering a Vigil Mass to remember the Hunt Family.

"We will come together to pray for them and all those who mourn them. Mass will commence at 7.30pm on Friday 12th July.

"The Church will remain open until 7.30pm today – Thursday 11th July and again tomorrow morning until 1pm.

"May the gentle souls of Carol, Hannah and Louise rest in the peace of Christ."

It is understood that taking photos, videos and mobile phone use will not be allowed.

Louise, 25, Hannah, 28, and their mother Carol, 61, - the family of racing presenter John Hunt - were found fatally injured at a home after being attacked with a crossbow.

Herts Police confirmed this morning that Kyle Clifford, 26, has been arrested in connection with the murders. He remains in a serious condition in hospital.
