The Watford Observer has opened this online book of condolence following the murder of Carol, Louise and Hannah Hunt.
The family of BBC racing presenter John Hunt were found fatally injured on Tuesday evening at a home in Ashlyn Close, Bushey.
Heartfelt tributes have flooded in from the community and beyond and a vigil was held at St James' Church this morning.
Lea Holloway, 60, who was a childhood friend of Carol Hunt, said: “We grew up together and were pregnant at the same time. This is the stuff nightmares are made of.
“I was there the night she met John (Hunt). It was in a nightclub in Hemel Hempstead. We went out together, went to birthdays and events.
“It’s very difficult. She was the nicest, kindest, sweetest person you could ever meet. A beautiful person.”
