- Herts Police were called to a property in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, just before 7pm on Tuesday evening (July 9) and found three women with serious injuries on arrival.
- “Despite their best efforts”, the women, two daughters of BBC commentator John Hunt aged 25 and 28, and his wife Carol Hunt, 61, died at the scene.
- Officers then began a wide-ranging manhunt, searching for 26-year-old Kyle Clifford.
- He has been found with injuries in an area of Enfield, but a spokesperson has confirmed that “no shots were fired by police”. A crossbow has been recovered.
- As of Thursday afternoon he remains in serious condition and has not spoken to police.
- A vigil has been held and flowers have been left at the police cordon as those who knew the victims shared their heartbreak over the events.
