Hertfordshire Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drug dealing after they seized heroin, crack and a combat knife in Watford.
Officers conducted operations in Caractacus Cottage View and Riverside Road on Friday (July 5) after receiving reports of drug dealing in the area.
A suspect was seen leaving an address in Caractacus Cottage View, and was searched by police nearby who found 50 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine on him, the force said.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. He has since been released on bail while the police investigation continues.
Police also searched a Riverside Road property where they found another 40 wraps of suspected class A drugs as well as a combat knife.
It is not known what the drugs seized in Riverside Road were. Police have been contacted for more details.

Photos taken by the force show a black knife with a serrated edge, as well as individual packets of drugs wrapped in green and clear clingfilm.
PC Richard Fielding said: “We’re committed to tackling drug related crime in Watford as we understand the negative impact this can have on our communities.
“I hope this result provides reassurance to our residents that we listen and take all reports made to us seriously and will act on this accordingly.”
