Plans have been approved to fit a three-bedroom bungalow in the garden of two houses in Carpenders Park.
A garage and two greenhouses to the rear of 51 and 53 Greenfield Avenue are set to be demolished to build the new home across both gardens, according to the application lodged with Three Rivers District Council.
It will have three bedrooms, a joint kitchen-dining area and two parking spaces facing out onto The Courtway.

The applicant said the plans would use previously developed land to provide a “much needed” bungalow and contribute to local housing supply.
Despite receiving six objections from neighbours, the district council approved the application on Wednesday, July 3, and ruled that works must start within three years.
The Courtway residents had objected on the grounds that the new home would look “squashed in” to the plot, block sunlight to neighbouring properties and reduce the number of parking spaces in the road.
